Logistics Manager

As Logistics Manager, you will be orchestrating our supply chain in a cost-efficient way. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Shaping strategic warehouse and logistic set up geared towards costs efficiency and lean go to market while embracing Gimber market development ambitions.
  • Achieving cross-department adoption and customer driven requirements will be key considerations of a successful plan. Data analytics will be at the centre of your decision-making process. Data visualisation will be at the centre of your communication process.
  • Being responsible for warehouse, logistics and facility budget, ensuring gross margin targets are met according to the company plan. Managing inventory and ensuring accurate inventory reporting to Finance team will be pivotal.
  • Leading your team and processes towards performance in execution, including on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery and ERP efficiency (ODOO, EDI, 3PL integration).
  • Ensuring day-to-day coordination of the warehouse team (10 blue collars) and the logistic office (2 white collars) with coaching and development mindset. Create a collaborative team environment and drive employee engagement through problem solving and continuous improvement. You report into the COO.
  • Managing 3PL and transport partners ensuring cost competitiveness and smooth operations.
  • Ensuring compliance to GS1 standards.
  • Taking charge of overall facility management, from warehouse to security, fire safety, utilities, and equipment maintenance.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT? 

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Food or FMCG Industry.
  • Experience in a startup/scale-up environment and a fast-paced, commercial, and strong growth setting.
  • People management experience with a pragmatic and team-oriented leadership style.
  • Solid communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
  • Autonomy, hands-on approach, stress resistance, analytical mindset, and an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Fluency in Dutch and/or French with a good command of English
